It's 6:42 am now and I'm obviously the only one in our department..
Ma needed a driver to the pier this morning and I felt obliged to volunteer without taking into account my sore foot from yesterday.
We left the house exactly 5:05am to catch the 6am float.. I know, how early..Errr, naminaw sa alarm?.
I love the streets during that time - just a few cars- reminding me of how Cebu once was..
It was refreshing to see how a city sleeps - few lights, no traffic, air is cooler, sky slightly illuminated..
Driving was stress free..
The clutch, however, became my least favorite pedal - my left foot just wouldn't stop aching and cooperate..
What aggravation - more potent than coffee to fully wake me up.
Walking from the looong parking area was nothing short of remarkable..

The joggers and walkers along the village did their routines - suya ko, they have time or rather take the time for healthy pursuits..
Sige lang, I have a book and yoga mat already(thanks to Han), now all I need is more inner strength to bully myself to work my ass.. plus a brain transplant.
I planned to get a hearty breakfast in our eDiner but to my surprise, they were closed..darn
So I went strait to our building and saw clusters of call center night-shifters taking their breakfast.
I could hear them talk in all weird languages.. Was that English?.. Nobody can really say..
Bagulbol about office issues and other yaks..
I almost broke off laughing but thanks to the magazine in front of me I read instead.
Menchu is hosting umm.. I forgot.. basta she has a show..
My gash, I remember her a few years back as a bar-girl during their Marlborough stint..
She also had convulsions at one of our lakaws in college or was it high school..
In fairness she looks pretty all glammed up.
Blah- blah, wa ko nalingaw sa mag.. I quickly got my luncheon meat and egg breakfast and headed up to the office.
So I didn't come to work early just for the heck of it -although I like the feeling and the ambiance of the office - so quiet with a few murmurs from other cubicles.
I came across people I didn't even know existed- people from the night shift of customer service dept.
And I couldn't get over one girl who gave me a full smile saying good morning - she never smiled at me that way before.
Early mornings are for morning people and I am not one of them..
